LeBron James Talks Rory McIlroy and Championships (parody)

Enjoy my parody of LeBron James answering questions after Rory McIlroy becomes the 111th US Open Golf Champion. Don't hate, appreciate.  (see USGA)

The Show:  "What do you think of Rory McIlroy and his play at Congressional Country Club considering the weather in the Bethesda, MD  during the US Open Golf Championship this weekend?"

LeBron:  “It’s hard to go from 85 degree weather and then go to 90.  Messes with you.” (LeBron/DWade mock Dirk sickness)


The Show:  "Rory collapsed previously down the stretch in major tournaments, what advice did you give him?"

LeBron:  "The Greater Man upstairs knows when it will be your time"  (Lebron responds to why the Heat did not win the 2011 NBA championship-via twitter)

The Show:  "Rory or Tiger?  Who's better?"

(Voice from the Background) 

"I got this one."

The Show:  "Scottie Pippen?"

Scottie:  Yes -

LeBron:  This who's better talk is getting old, it's getting older. I'm going to stop answering best player questions until I become a global icon.  I owe it my teammates, myself, and my organization to focus on being a global icon.  This is the last time this summer I'm going to answer best player questions.  (LeBron talking about pending free agency while with Cleveland)   LeBron pauses......Scottie, go ahead and answer.

Scottie:  Tiger Woods is probably the greatest scorer to play the game. --Scottie pauses for a moment to massage his temples as it appears he is feeling the onslaught of a stress headache. -- But I may go as far to say that Rory McIlroy may be the greatest player ever to play the game because he is so potent scoring wise AND he has great hair.  (Pippen says LeBron may be better all around player than Jordan)

The Show:  "Thanks Scottie" .....SMH...

 "LeBron, McIlroy was terrific in the 2011 Masters through the first three rounds. Then, he faded with an awful fourth and final round.  Why do you think he shrank from the pressure at Augusta?" 

LeBron:  Watch what he did after hitting so many snap hooks into the woods there....and ask me a better question tomorrow.  (thank you Greg Doyel)

The Show:  "Ok."


(There is an odd 36 second pause as John Wall randomly rolls by us doing the "Dougie."  WTF? 

(I'm actually surprised they have not renamed it "Doing the CT")

The Show:  "How many US Open Golf Championships do you think Rory can win?"

LeBron:  ""NOT 1, NOT 2, NOT 3, NOT 4, NOT 5, NOT 6, NOT 7...."" (see youtube Miami Heat Welcome Party)

The Show:  "Ok...nice party.."  SMH -   "Tiger wasn't able to play in this US Open due to injury.  What do you have to say to all the Tiger "haters" out there?"

LeBron:   "They'll wake up tomorrow with the same life and problems." (LeBron after game 6 of the NBA finals-Yarbarker.com)

The Show:  Thanks for your time and candidness LeBron.  Thank you Scottie for joining in on our discussion about the 2011 US Open Golf Champion, Rory McIlroy.
