| Bye-Bye |
If you haven't had a chance to read "The Lakers Gone Fishing," you can check it out now. I breakdown the Los Angeles Lakers getting swept by the Dallas Mavs in the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs and what the immediate future may hold for the 2 time defending NBA champs. Read "The Lakers Gone Fishing"...
Chris Bosh was nervous on Saturday. According to ESPN, Bosh stated:
“Given all the elements that were out there last night … they were so hyped,” Bosh said. “My emotions got the best of me early on and it kind of dictated what I was doing for the rest of the game….
“I was not trusting my game,” Bosh said. “The toughest thing to do in hostile environments is not just to trust your teammates but to trust yourself. Trust things you’ve been doing all your life.”
The last two times we've heard of "trust issues" related to a NBA team include:
1.) Andrew Bynum performing his best Brandi Chastain imitation exiting the American Airlines arena in Dallas.
2.) Rumors of that Gloria James incident in Cleveland. Not good news for the Heatles.
Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers became the 28th pitcher in Major League Baseball history to throw two no-hitters in his career on Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays. For more on Verlander's no-hitter, and a good reason I don't go to weddings, check out the Detroit Tigers Jungle.
If you are looking for a Triple Crown Story, Animal Kingdom may be your horse. Actually, it is the only horse with a chance as Animal Kingdom won the 137th Kentucky Derby on Saturday. Animal Kingdom will return to Maryland on Tuesday to begin preparations for the 13/16-mile Preakness on May 21 at Pimlico, about 60 miles from his home base at Fair Hill Training Center. Follow Preakness Horse Racing Odds!
Until Next Time,
